About Me

Hi, I'm Tim Love, founder of Iowa Mole and Gopher Control.

I have been trapping since I was six years old, when my uncle Rick first introduced me to trapping pocket gophers. What began as a childhood memories quickly grew into a lifelong passion.

In 2001, I started Loves Wildlife Control expecting to spend most of my days trapping beavers and raccoons. Instead, I discovered that the greatest need was helping homeowners with mole problems and assisting farmers with pocket gopher infestations. Over the years, I have developed specialized & proven methods that have made me highly effective at controlling both species.

Throughout my career, I've worked with customers all around Iowa—from Sioux City to Muscatine, from Cresco to Pleasantville, and many places in between. I've helped protect lawns, pastures, hay fields, and agricultural lands by providing reliable, results-driven pest control solutions.

Even today, I remain an active fur trapper and continue running small coyote and raccoon trap lines each fall. Trapping isn't just my profession—it's something I've spent my lifetime learning and perfecting.

What sets me apart is my commitment to every customer. When someone hires me, their problem becomes my problem. I take pride in finding solutions and pursuing them with persistence, experience, and attention to detail.

Today, I focus exclusively on what I do best: professional mole and pocket gopher control. My goal is simple—to help property owners regain control of their land and keep it protected long term.
